Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a well-rounded and high energy Senior Marketing Specialist to join our team (Boston-based preferred). You will drive the company’s marketing campaigns and be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of all lead generating activity amongst various channels. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years experience and has the ability and willingness to do a little bit of everything - write content, coordinate campaigns, plan conferences, analyze performance metrics, and create websites, among other tasks. You exhibit great attention to detail, possess an interest in the higher education and/or academic library space, and have experience supporting multi-channel, integrated marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all email communication including copy creation, formatting, landing page creation, form creation and connectivity, scheduling, A/B testing, deploying, tracking and reporting
  • Maintain regular analysis of marketing efforts and refine promotional plans based on results, goals, and ROI
  • Work closely with the sales team to assist pipeline building efforts through lead generating activities
  • Locate potential speaker opportunities, organize, manage, promote and report on all webinars
  • Manage all marketing/sales collateral and inventory
  • Coordinate company presence at conferences & trade shows
  • Maintain relationships with third party buying groups, ensuring optimal visibility of all products and promotions
  • Manage all tasks associated with the Marketing Intern(s)
  • Provide Salesforce administrative support to the sales team & other key stakeholders
  • Lead efforts to maintain clean data within the CRM system
  • Complete updates to websites including text, formatting and new page creation


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar marketing role
  • Experience working for B2B preferred
  • Excellent proofreading skills with some experience writing, editing, and proofreading promotional marketing material
  • Extensive attention to detail within copy and an eye for good layout and design
  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment - executing and tracking multiple marketing activities and campaigns simultaneously
  • Highly dependable, self-starter with high energy, a positive attitude, and good organizational, communication and time management skills
  • Experience using or other CRM
  • Experience with HubSpot or other email software client such as Marketo, Act-On, etc.
  • Experience with graphics software such as InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop a plus
  • Experience managing a direct report a plus
  • Experience with multimedia, HTML, website design and/or UX a plus
