WHO WE ARE SEEKING:
A Senior Marketing Manager Events who has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. Someone who will tirelessly ensure that ISTEs organizational brand, messaging, tone and graphic design are consistently implemented based on our established brand standards. You will be responsible for campaign planning & development, project management, and collateral development. If you collaborate across teams effectively, who love the rewarding challenge of building a brand, and are a critical thinker, you'll be an ideal candidate.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with our product teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute on integrated marketing campaigns for ISTE + ASCD events and membership programs.
- Manage timelines & schedules, budgets and reporting regarding conferences, workshops, webinars and membership drives.
- Gather research and insights on our target customer segments.
- Author product brand positioning and messaging.
- Lead project management of marketing programs, campaigns and projects.
- Manage timelines for both internal and external resources.
- Work with the digital marketing manager and other team members to use current tech tools to evaluate marketing results.
- Stay on top of product owner KPIs and sales, and use this data to craft marketing plans and offer suggestions for future tactics.
- Work with copywriters and designers to develop creative assets for cohesive marketing
WHAT MATTERS TO US:
- A bachelors degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, advertising or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing-focused positions with a proven track record of creative product marketing accomplishments.
- Experience in member organizations and/or event promotion is a plus.
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing marketing programs
- Solid knowledge of campaign reporting and analysis.
- Experience with the educator audience, specifically in the edtech space, is a big plus.
- Hubspot or a comparable email marketing automation/workflow management tool.
- Salesforce.com or other CRM
- Asana or comparable project management software
- Drupal or a similar content management system
- G Suite; Microsoft Office tools
- HTML/CSS just the basics
- Persona creation
