Senior Manager, Strategic District Marketing

We’re seeking a senior manager to own our strategic district marketing initiatives with experience working alongside an ed-tech sales team to support the success of large district partners. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing & Sales Enablement.

As a key strategic partner to our district relations team, you will help to define and execute the marketing strategy for our large district partners from pre-sale through to renewal. Working alongside product marketing, events, professional learning services, and sales, you will be responsible for creating 360-degree marketing plans that support the unique needs and goals of strategic target districts.

You will develop custom touch-points such as targeted messaging, testimonials, collateral, sales decks, landing pages, email campaigns, and more to help deepen our relationships and demonstrate the value of BrainPOP’s learning solutions to key district leaders and educators. This new role on the growing BrainPOP marketing team will be critical to driving interest, awareness, and implementation success in some of the nation’s largest school districts. Your work will have a direct impact on how BrainPOP is supporting the needs of educators and students every day.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute account-based marketing plans that drive towards strategic sales and success goals.
  • Position product values and benefits to district partners and create marketing materials to help promote BrainPOP’s value across a district.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment to find creative solutions that will best support the unique goals of key district partners.
  • Set the standard for effective account-based marketing practices, and ensure it is documented and repeatable for multiple district partners.
  • Support district implementation, retention, and renewal efforts as needed in conjunction with sales, professional learning, and customer success partners.
  • Collaborate with event marketing to plan and host online and offline events that support regional and district sales goals.
  • Identify, develop, lead, and support local district initiatives through collateral, teaching resources, community campaigns, and email/digital programs to engage educators and administrators in target districts.
  • Build strong relationships across marketing, sales, and professional learning teams to understand the voice of the customer and incorporate learnings from the field into localized marketing plans.

Who You Are

  • A great communicator, both verbal and written, with experience crafting messaging and writing copy for customer-facing materials
  • Highly organized, proficient, and comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities at a time.
  • Comfortable working alongside a dynamic and rapidly-evolving sales function

  • Flexible and adaptable in order to pivot quickly on daily priorities to meet customer needs

On Your Resume

  • 5+ years of education marketing experience in K-12, edtech, or other B2B SaaS business models
  • Exceptional project management skills including the planning, prioritization, and implementation of end-to-end marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working cross-functionally and collaborating with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, proficient and comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities at a time.
  • Experience working creating branded and designed customer materials yourself under tight deadlines
  • Software experience including but not limited to JIRA, Asana, Highspot, Canva
