Senior Demand Generation Manager

HMH is looking for a seasoned marketing expert to join our growing Demand Generation team. The Senior Manager, Demand Generation will support the strategy, planning and execution of integrated, lifecycle marketing campaigns to increase market awareness, generate demand, accelerate pipeline, and drive sales. Reporting to the VP of Demand Generation, the ideal candidate must be a revenue-centric, data-driven marketer with proven success in designing inbound and outbound marketing strategies to support key business and marketing objectives.

A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of content marketing and how to leverage marketing channels to drive demand and support the customer across the customer journey. This individual will collaborate with a team of Demand Gen and Channel marketers, as well as cross-functional business partners (Brand & Creative, Product Marketing, Field Sales Marketing, Rev Ops, Sales, etc.) to design, execute, measure, and optimize effective demand generation programs.

This position will require a deep understanding of how to use customer engagement data, market trends, and sales/business insights to design cohesive, multi-channel marketing campaigns that unearths and drives demand that results in revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, planning and execution of integrated, omni-channel marketing campaigns to increase market awareness, generate demand, accelerate pipeline, and drive sales
  • Implement inbound and outbound campaigns incorporating email marketing, SEO, SEM, social, video, web, display, live/digital events, etc.; Closely monitor campaign performance and funnel conversion rates and optimize campaigns accordingly
  • Drive campaign strategy, including channel and tactical plans and campaign messaging in collaboration with Channel Marketing experts (Web Strategy, Marketing Automation, Paid Media, Social Media) and Brand & Creative partners
  • Determine content required to support effective campaign strategies; Write content as needed
  • Collaborate with RevOps, Sales, Sales Strategy, Product Marketing, and Field Sales Marketing to align on campaign prioritization, communication, and optimization
  • Monitor customer engagement data, market trends, and sales/business insights to inform campaign plans; Leverage data to identify, launch and test new strategic marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with Demand Gen Directors to support automated lead nurture strategies to scale support for Sales and Customer Success and support overarching demand generation programs
  • Monitor lead nurturing, lead scoring, lead routing, and campaign effectiveness data to continuously optimize demand generation programs
  • Lead campaign testing strategy to ensure customer-centric messaging and continuous optimization to improve campaign performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of full-time marketing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of demand generation/integrated campaign planning experience
  • Experience implementing enterprise-level demand generation programs
  • Tactical, hands-on experience with lead forecasting, reporting, and analysis
  • Experience developing compelling messaging and voice across all digital channels; Experience writing channel/campaign-optimized content (Excellent copy writing skills)
  • Experience partnering with Business Development and sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and deliver campaigns that resonate deeply with customers along buyer’s journey
  • Self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable with a balance of day-to-day execution and high-level strategy
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker with an ability to use data to inform decisions
