TNTP is hiring a full time Senior Business Analyst, Salesforce to join our Enterprise Systems team. This position is based in a home office anywhere in the U.S. and is available immediately. Occasional travel is required.

Enterprise Systems is a dynamic group of teams which provide services to over 400 TNTP staff working on more than 40 contract sites across the country and administers multiple enterprise-level software solutions, manages hardware and servers, implements security and provides HelpDesk support to the entire organization. Enterprise Systems is constantly building enhancements and new systems to support the evolving work of internal clients and address the business needs of a growing, virtually connected organization.

Within Enterprise Systems, a small team maintains and supports TNTP’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce. This team works collaboratively with internal groups to analyze process and technology challenges and recommend practical solutions within Salesforce, as well as provide key analytics that support our business development strategy. This includes keeping a pulse on systems and data trends to support our Business Development Operations, Legal, Finance and/or alternative route to teaching teams in meeting their goals.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be the technical leader for TNTP’s two implementations of Salesforce and will work collaboratively with internal and external clients to analyze process and technology challenges and recommend practical solutions. You will keep a constant pulse on systems and data trends to ensure the Enterprise Systems team and clients meet their goals and will support strategy execution for the organization.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical leadership for Salesforce, inclusive ofleading implementation of incremental improvements, maximizing adoption, system maintenance and optimization, and monitoring usage trends to recommend enhancements.
  • Assess current state business processes and capability gaps and identify multiple solution options and pathways by working with internal clients using Salesforce or those who could benefit from its use
  • Analyze requirements for complex business needs, ensuring that all requirements support delivery of project goals and meet prioritized key stakeholder needs
  • Coach, train, project manage and develop the team of admins and businessanalysts supporting Salesforce to build a strong inclusive team culture, deepen system knowledge and provide Tier 3 support
  • Build relationships with diverse group of stakeholders to successfully gain input, negotiate complex needs, and prioritize opportunities
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at varying levels of organizational leadership
  • Strong business knowledge, including knowledge of organizational services and structure and industry trends, products, services and client needs
  • Lead documentation (both technical and user facing) of Salesforce processes and support knowledge management and Salesforce literacy across the organization

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is required with at least 2 years of hands-on experience primarily with Sales Cloud.
  • Experience with marketing automation, document management integrations and other Salesforce integrations.
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification helpful but not required.
  • Experience with a wide variety of business analysis techniques, including but not limited to writing user-stories, business requirements, and functional specifications and developing process diagrams in an agile environment. 5+ years of increasing experience working as a business analysis practitioner preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including client management and the ability to influence and engage project teams, peers, and TNTP leadership team members. 
  • Experience providing technical leadership, development and cultivation to other business analysts and admins; experience managing others preferred
  • Self-reliant, results-oriented problem-solving skills, including the ability to critically assess challenges and identify innovative, effective solutions in ambiguous situations. 
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to make decisions, work efficiently, prioritize effectively, and anticipate future needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to research, assess, and recommend improvements to business processes, organization, and policies that can increase the advantages gained from technical and non-technical solutions

What We Offer

TNTP offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position with the potential for an annual performance-based bonus. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and midpoint depending on experience and in alignment with internal equity. We offer a comprehensive benefits plan, covering the majority of the employee premium for the base medical plan and subsidizing the majority of costs for a spouse/domestic partner and children.
