Senior Accountant

BetterLesson - Remote - Part time

You Will:

  • Manage all accounts payables and vendor information.
  • Assist with accounts receivables and customer setup.
  • Review general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
  • Work on monthly accounting closing tasks.
  • Post monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals.
  • Assist with maintenance of state tax compliance and business registration efforts.
  • Assist with the annual financial audit and related tasks.
  • Manage all finance correspondence received in mail.
  • Contribute to other finance-related initiatives within and beyond the Finance Team.
  • Develop and maintain accounting process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Travel 2-4 times per year to collaborate with colleagues.

You Have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, either public or private.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP.
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite, Salesforce, Quickbooks, and Netsuite is a plus.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
