School Partnerships Executive

inquirED - Remote - Full time

We are on a mission to bring inquiry-based learning to all students, and we need your help. We are looking for a relational, persistent, and organized School Partnerships Executive who believes in the power of more student-centered learning. Working directly with both inbound leads and outbound target accounts, the School Partnerships Executive will guide school leaders through the process of choosing an Elementary Social Studies curriculum that will fundamentally transform how teachers teach and how students learn.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a strategic sales plan for school sales and small districts, that supports the team as we work towards our revenue goal.
  • Effectively and accurately utilize Hubspot to track outreach and opportunities, and submit forecasts monthly.
  • Manage the full sales process for schools and small districts – qualifying inbound leads, strategically outbounding, conducting discovery calls, doing demos, building proposals, negotiating, and closing.
  • Collaborate with Partner Experience to assist with the tracking and management of renewals and expansions from existing customers.

Requirements:

  • Classroom experience highly preferred
  • 2 years experience in partner/customer-facing role, ideally at a K-12 curriculum or edtech company
  • West Coast based (CA preferred)
  • Understanding of how schools and the people that work in them operate
  • Fantastic written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Deep listening skills and the drive to understand and address customers’ needs, as well as the vision or concerns behind those needs
  • Highly relational and persistent – not afraid to keep at it with prospects
  • Demonstrated ability to stay organized and track progress
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, feedback-driven environment
  • A willingness to be scrappy, creative, and unconventional
  • A passion for inquirED’s mission to bring inquiry to every student
