Position Overview: 

SEED SPOT, a globally ranked incubator has taken its proven curriculum for teaching social entrepreneurship and modified it for the next generation of change agents. Currently in over 20 schools in 3 states, SEED SPOT is looking for someone passionate about education, entrepreneurship and sales to fill its School Expansion Manager role and helping grow the program to 500 schools over the next 5 years. The School Expansion Manager is a sales position responsible for meeting sales goals as outlined in the annual strategic plan. This includes contributing to lead generation, lead cultivation and closing sales meetings. This role is responsible for building the foundation of processes that takes SEED SPOT Schools to scale.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Crafting lead generation ideas in partnership with the SEED SPOT team.

- Monitoring the efficacy of lead generation strategies and pivoting as needed.

- Attend education events, conferences and forums to increase lead generation.

- Serve as the initial point of contact for new leads to educate them about the value of SEED SPOT Schools.

- Support development of collateral, pricing strategy, and pitch materials to sell program to schools.

- Nurture relationships through the entire sales cycle.

- Develop innovative strategies to educate and add value to leads as they are being nurtured through the sales cycle.

- Effectively convert leads to sign contracts in alignment with annual sales goals.

- Track all relationships thoroughly in salesforce

- Produce monthly reports for SEED SPOT senior leadership and Board of Directors related to sales progress.

- Relay customer feedback to marketing and product teams as relevant for improvements.

- Leverage the SEED SPOT team and Board members as appropriate to help close large contracts.

Key Qualifications, Attributes, and Skills:- 

- Demonstrated success selling to K-12 institutions across the country. 

- Intimate knowledge of school ecosystems, conferences, events, thought leaders, and networks.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales process inside of a growing organization.

- Passion for building relationships, cultivating prospects, and closing deals.

- Ability to manage and maintain a sales pipeline.

- Salesforce knowledge desired.

- Ability to travel to conferences, events and school meetings as needed to secure contracts.

- Preference given to candidates in Washington DC, remote candidates welcome to apply.
