Position Overview

The more schools we’re in, the bigger the difference we’re making for students and educators. For this reason, we’re seeking a Sales Associate to assist with supporting our presence in New York City's K-12 schools. This individual will be assisting the Director and sales executives to help drive new and renewal business. The Sales Associate must be passionate about education and Illuminate products, and must possess a proven track record of working collaboratively to identify and penetrate market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with NYC Director of Sales and remote inside sales account executives to manage prospects and new business opportunities
  • Assist with managing Director's calendar to schedule and manage appointments/demonstrations
  • Research competitors in NYC and report back on market findings
  • Create demo accounts for use by NYC account executives
  • Participate in creation of NYC sales strategy
  • Assist in quote creation for NYC sales team
  • Assist in maintaining accurate information and data in salesforce
  • Assist in manning the NYC Inbound Call Number to appropriately route calls to sales or support
  • Renewal Support

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous district, school, or charter school experience preferred.
  • Experience with Illuminate products a plus.
  • Proven relationship management or other relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Ability to communicate with potential customers
