My Education Group is a rapidly growing education company with products focusing on teaching Chinese language and culture within schools as well as providing Virtual Excursions to China and Professional learning trips to China for both teachers and students.

Our feature product is the My Chinese Teacher program which functions as the worlds largest provider of online Chinese language programs with weekly lessons delivered live to classrooms across England, Australia and New Zealand with China based Teachers. We are at the forefront of innovative online learning and are bold and ambitious about providing our program to a growing number of schools in the USA.

We believe that classrooms should not be restricted to the 4 walls around them and we inspire and educate over 18,000 school students every week, learning Mandarin - live and interactive - with a China based teacher.

We have offices in Melbourne, London and Beijing.

Here is the scenario;

-There is a growing demand for schools to learn Chinese

-There is a shortage of available Chinese teachers, particularly outside metropolitan areas

Our My Chinese Teacher program solves both these problems in a cost-effective manner suitable for any school.

We have been servicing the USA market from abroad and have been overwhelmed by the response of American schools and are looking for someone locally to take over and drive growth within this market for many years to come

If you are the suitable candidate you will be the chief representative of My Education Group on the east coast of the USA and responsible for building the business over the coming years.

Salary will include a base plus commissions.

Responsibilities and Duties

-Contact schools across the USA to promote the business and secure schools to participate in the My Chinese Teacher program and other products

-Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within the education industry

-Attend relevant education conferences to generate business and increase company profile

-Responsible for winning new business

-Visit schools to demonstrate our product to decision makers

-Lead both a top down and bottom up sales approach for all company products

Qualifications and Skills

-Track record of sales in the education market

-Sound knowledge of Education System across the USA

-Knowledge of China and Chinese is handy but not essential

You must also have outstanding communication skills and the ability to create opportunities and bring them to fruition.
