The Role

Wayfinder is looking for an experienced Sales Operations Manager to develop, optimize, integrate, and automate systems to track all sales across Salesforce and our adjacent softwares. You will design and implement systems that will allow us to grow and scale our sales efforts, from close of sale through fulfillment. Our ideal candidate has a solid Salesforce admin and dev background with at least 3-5 years of experience developing sales and post-sales systems and integrations for startups, and work experience managing a variety of projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

  • Research, develop and manage integrations and automations between Salesforce and other platforms including Docusign, Quickbooks Online, the Wayfinder App, and our offsite fulfillment center
  • Identify and develop systems improvements for handoff processes from the sales staff to operations and finance staff
  • Manage and maintain sales data in Salesforce and make necessary administrative adjustments and improvements
  • Set up dashboards and reports, both in CRM and beyond, to track sales operations and cross-functional efficiencies, and identify areas for improvement
  • Codify existing post-sales activities and research potential opportunities to increase efficiency via new systems, tools, and/or processes
  • Work with third party printer/fulfillment center to automate and streamline sale of printed materials
  • Work with dev team to automate and streamline sale of digital materials
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports in Salesforce
  • Identify, build, and manage additional non-CRM sales tools and systems that enable efficient sales and cross-functional collaboration
  • Train sales team to utilize systems that increase sales efficiency, including Salesforce and additional sales operations tools
  • Serve as primary Salesforce administrator, managing basic admin functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks
  • Identify and make recommendations to eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies

Requirements

  • Must have at least 3-5 years previous experience developing sales and post-sales systems and integrations for startups, including experience as a Salesforce admin
  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience taking ownership of sales/post-sales automation and integrations projects from planning through to execution
  • Previous experience with, or knowledge of the following: Docusign, Quickbooks Online, Slack, third party fulfillment
  • Strong communication skills via phone, video, Slack, and email
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and scaling environment
  • Strong attention to detail, and superior organizational skills
  • Salesforce.com Admin certified preferred
  • Sales Cloud and Developer certification preferred
  • Prior experience or demonstrated interest in EdTech and/or K-12 education preferred

Location

This role is remote, but requires you to be available for calls for at least 4 hours between 9am-5pm US Central Time. As such this role can be anywhere where you can commit to working half the day to overlap with that timezone, and will not require relocation once COVID is over.
