Sales Operations Manager

inquirED was founded by teachers to create instructional materials that support joyful, rigorous, and transferable learning experiences for students. Inquiry Journeys, inquirED’s elementary social studies curriculum, is used in schools and districts in 30+ states. Building on this early traction, we’re now expanding our market reach into multiple subject areas. We’re currently looking for an experienced Sales Operations Manager to support our growing sales team.

inquirED’s Revenue Operations team is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to help build and define what it means to be a business partner to our GTM teams. We are looking for someone with experience managing operational systems and enabling the team members who use them on a daily basis. The role will be a key part of our Revenue Operations Team, building systems with operational thoughtfulness and delivering relevant data across our tech stack, but will operate day-to-day within our sales team, specifically with our Sales Director, making sure they have the systems and enablement support they need to be successful.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a partner and trusted advisor to our Director of Sales by defining, tracking, and implementing goals, programs, and enablement as needed
  • Develop an operating cadence for the sales team – manage scoping and delivery of new initiatives, implement and enable strategies for the sales team, roll out quarterly and annual planning review and reporting
  • Implement and operationalize the Sales and GTM Plan, making sure that data gathering and reporting needs are met for various internal stakeholders
  • Work with the greater RevOps team on operational and data needs across the customer lifecycle, help establish KPIs and reporting, maintain and iterate upon our forecasting model
  • Establish this new role and help define the scope and responsibilities for business partners at inquirED

Experience And Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant operations or consulting experience, including 3+ years of direct support for a GTM Team
  • Expertise in sales automation and reporting, with a strong preference for experience operating at a high level in HubSpot
  • Experience planning and operationalizing new initiatives for a customer facing team, while also providing enablement and training for the team members these initiatives impact
  • Demonstrated experience driving complex, cross-functional initiatives and deliverables
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiastic about building efficient processes for your partners
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of management experience
  • Preferred: advanced analytical skills and the ability to explain complex data analysis in a meaningful and insightful manner
