thinkLaw is looking for a strategic and user-centric Sales Operations Administrator with a passion for our mission and the execution chops to make it a reality. You will be a key member of our team and will work closely with the Head of Partnerships and the sales team to ensure efficiency and effectiveness for the whole department. Your efforts to execute, build and bolster operational systems will be essential elements of thinkLaw’s rapid growth and expansion.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of sales administrative or sales operations support, and be adept at managing the operations of the sales cycle through building and maintaining CRM systems and shared inboxes, and managing contracts and bid proposals through the RFP cycle.

As a Sales Operations Administrator, you will:

Your most important work is to execute on a wide range of tasks that are critical to the success of the company. You will:

  • Process necessary paperwork such as proposals, contracts, and work orders, exercising creative problem-solving where needed to meet the needs of school, district, conference, and corporate requirements.
  • Enter data, organize, and update CRM databases regularly (and as needed) to maximize thinkLaw’s knowledge base.
  • Expand new business opportunities by customizing messages to target contacts from conferences and other events, and providing research for potential partner meetings to maximize the effectiveness of the CEO and the sales and marketing team.
  • Execute all tasks associated with RFP and contract management.
  • Prepare notes before sales pitch meetings, capture key information, and prioritize next steps for prompt execution and follow up.
  • Increase operational efficiencies by continually looking for ways to automate and improve systems and routines, making work smarter, more effective and more efficient.

  • Exceptional strengths as a communicator, writer, editor, and coordinator, who is proactive, organized, and strategic aboutleveraging thinkLaw’s solutions to solve a wide range of problems.

Education and Experience

The Sales Operations Administrator will have education and experience in the following areas:

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree or higher in education, business administration, public administration, nonprofit management, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in asales operations role, such as Sales Administration Specialist, Sales Support Administrator, Sales Operations Coordinator.
  • Experience in executing administrative tasks and managing operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with K-12 administrators.
  • Direct or comparable experience managing contracts, RFPs, and/or opening and closing K-12 education technology or curriculum deals
  • Additional experience, preferred:
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems.
  • Sales experience.
  • Experience working in a 100% work-from-home environment.

Role Structure

  • Location: thinkLaw is a national organization and the Sales Operations Administrator can be located anywhere.
  • Schedule: Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
