About the Position

USATestprep is a rapidly growing, market-leading, education technology company with offices in Atlanta and the Dallas Metro area.. The position is on-site in the Richardson, TX office. On target total first year compensation typically ranges between $85K-$140K.

The Sales Manager is responsible for new business growth, measured by annual contract value (ACV) from individual schools and school districts. This person will manage a full team of Business Development Representatives, responsible for contacting prospects, qualifying leads, and setting appointments. This role will report directly to the President of USATP and be paid commissions against specific monthly targets.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Hit monthly targets as set, defined as the number of demos set with potential new customers.
  • Work with the New Sales team, including Account Executives and Regional Sales Directors, to contribute to our monthly sales quotas.
  • Work with the President to set activity targets and update playbooks for outreach to prospects and leads as needed.
  • Train, monitor and coach Business Development Representatives on their call and outreach activities in order to increase the quantity of key activities and the quality of each prospect interaction.
  • Expand our traditional inbound sales approach while building an outbound sales motion with the team to maximize our coverage of the market.
  • Building out the team as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Seasoned sales manager with 5+ years of front-line selling and/or sales management experience, preferably with a focus on high-volume inside sales
  • Experience managing remote teams and third parties
  • High energy individual able to spark enthusiasm and lead a team through thick and thin
  • Experience with Salesforce as a CRM and a sales engagement tool like Outreach.io or Salesloft is preferred
