Sales Leader

We are a successful teacher-focused tech firm that helps K-12 teachers discover, plan and manage their online curriculum. We have a great team of talent, from educators, marketers and engineers who share our vision for creating innovative and intuitive teaching tools and resources. The next step in our journey is to scale our Learning Object Repository (LOR) and curriculum management solutions for schools and districts. To do that, we need an experienced and passionate sales professional who can help us identify and cultivate new opportunities, capitalize on existing opportunities and turn our leads into awesome long-term clients.

                              Who we’re looking for

We are seeking a true sales ninja! You have sales in your DNA with a proven track record of B2B and inside sales success. You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and help us strategize our growth, to think outside the box, knock on doors and track down leads. You have an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for selling software and SaaS solutions to organizations who will truly thrive from our resources.

You’ll work with amazing accounts all over the country and have the chance to help us continue to build and develop our company.

This highly visible role is vital to our continued success and will require the following:

1. Being a true sales driver:

    -Actively prospecting and developing a sales pipeline of leads

  -Running the sales process from initial contact to successful close

  -Refine and maintain a key contacts list for targeted schools and districts

  -Build relationships with key contacts for future opportunities

  -Identifying upselling opportunities with our current accounts

2. Partnering on all things strategy:

  -Provide us feedback and insight on our positioning and sales process

  -Collaborating with our management team to develop and implement sales strategy, targets and goals

  -Working with the marketing team, develop and implement effective inbound marketing and sales strategies

  -Take an active role in team meetings and planning sessions

3. Owning the sales process:

  -Working closely with our member services team, you’ll ensure our accounts have a seamless experience post sale

  -Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure collateral material needs are met to provide effective messaging for each sales channel

  -Identifying improvements to our current sales and operations process as needed

            Our ideal candidate will have the following:

-A background or training in K-12 education industry sales, preferred

-3+ years B2B software as a service (SaaS) experience

-Ability to travel as needed

-Experience leading and managing various sales channels (inside, outside, partner, regional reps)

-Tech savvy (from GSuite to Slack to various CRM systems)

-Excellent written and verbal skills

-Ability to identify decision makers and how to reach them
