Sales Executive

Blyncsy, Inc. - Salt Lake City, Utah or Remote - Full time

ABOUT THE JOB

You will be specifically focused on selling Blyncsy’s new technology product, Mercury, a contact tracing technology that is necessary for higher education organizations to open back up to students this fall. You will close the deals that will help push the company into the future. You will get to work hard with your teammates on projects you are excited about. You will get to work on cool stuff with cool people. You will get to sell a technology that will help in the fight against COVID-19 and future contagions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You love the thrill of building a pipeline of new customers and closing enterprise-level deals. You are excited to work with a small team now and equally excited to help grow the team as we expand in the coming months and years. You have previous experience in selling to higher education and/or government agencies traffic and transportation engineering space, large companies and corporations or complex sales structures. You enjoy working on a team and are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone and tackle hard problems. You move quickly and have what it takes to find a deal and close it.

You will:

  • Work with the CEO and consultants on scouting new customers and closing deals
  • Work with customers directly on new sales and upsells
  • Generate pipeline and leads
  • Expand the company’s business development opportunities through customers and partners 

DESIRED SKILLS

Experience with the following is necessary:

  • At least 3+ years’ experience selling in the educational technology space or 3+ years experience in a similar type of industry or sales category
  • Experience selling technology to municipalities and firms who work with these public entities a plus
  • Selling to government entities
