We are seeking experienced Sales Representatives across the country who will become an expert on our solutions, identify opportunities to serve schools, and achieve new sales goals. The Sales Representative will work on the front lines of the company, increasing product awareness, and generating sales within their assigned region. You’ll be a good fit if you are skilled at consultative sales, highly motivated, and prepared to build pipeline and close deals. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of sales success, possesses knowledge of the K-12 market, and/or in the field of safety and security, works well in a fast-paced environment, has a high energy level, and is driven to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain expertise on the product and future releases

Present and demonstrate products with confidence

Proactively prospect to strategically drive new sales

Maintain an understanding of purchasing requirements

Build solid relationships within the territory at the school and district level

Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities

Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline and forecasts

Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets

Attend/Represent the company at occasional trade shows

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

Successful direct sales experience is required. This is a senior level sales position. 

Excellent verbal and written presentation skills

Must be able to travel within the territory, as needed, and for occasional national meetings/events or trade shows

Must be able to pass a background check. The candidate must not have any prior criminal history or have been the subject of any governmental order or decree terminating or suspending any security clearance or license, or barring the candidate from conducting business with any governmental entity or within any jurisdiction

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven knowledge of the education sector, selling to the K-12 market

Sales experience in the public safety sector a plus

Law enforcement background is a plus.

Understand and work with government grant programs to help our customers secure funds to purchase

Proficiency with a CRM system, Microsoft Office, and Web Demonstration tools

Prior success prospecting and closing sales over the phone

Demonstrated ability to work independently, remote in a home office, with minimum supervision, knowing when to travel to close deals

Compensation:

Base salary plus commission, with benefits and travel reimbursement
