Our sales team is an experienced edtech sales team based across the US in Austin, Chicago, Boston and Florida and worldwide in London and Dubai. We have working options to suit everyone, we have office hubs in Boston and London and the option to work fully remotely.

What makes this role great?

We’ve been experiencing 100% year on year growth over the last two years and you’ll be joining at an exciting time. You’ll play a part in Boclips’ growth and success by sourcing, engaging new customers and building a pipeline of meetings for our Sales Leads. You'll work alongside an international team with plenty of support and training. Not forgetting the chance to come to London and other locations in Europe for a team meetups!

Your day to day —

  • You'll be focused mostly on supporting the discovery and prospecting of charter and virtual schools in North America.
  • You'll work in two-week sprints, experimenting with new approaches and testing messaging to engage prospects and evaluate the results.
  • You'll collaborate with marketing, nurturing prospects along the marketing funnel and following up on inbound marketing leads.
  • You’ll keep things looking ship shape in our CRM, Hubspot. You’ll love diving into the data and understanding the sales pipeline at a detailed level.
  • You'll keep track of the industry and keep the team updated with weekly news alerts in the sales team slack channel.

About You

This role is mostly about attitude and aptitude! If you are self-driven, love to connect with people, are curious to understand businesses and are highly organised. You should apply.

  • Ideally you will have 1+ year's experience in a B2B sales role focused on outreach, generating leads and researching new prospects.
  • This role may suit someone looking to leave a virtual or charter school environment, who would like to get into edtech sales.
  • You are data-driven and enjoy digging into sales metrics. You know how many calls it takes to secure a demo or a meeting. Importantly, you aim for quality over quantity.
  • You are a clear and structured communicator both written and verbal. You have honed your skills around the right message to the right prospect and can engage prospects on calls.
  • You are proactive and unafraid to make mistakes and love to get feedback on you work, learn and improve.
  • You are open, kind and honest.
  • You are a team player, we are one team!
