Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Boardworks Education - Brooklyn, New York - Full time

Based from our US HQ in New York City, the successful applicant will be required to cold call Superintendents, Principals and Curriculum Administrators within K-12 districts across the country to schedule product demonstrations for the Field Sales Representatives. 

You would be joining a team of callers in a very friendly and welcoming office environment. There is a genuine and real possibility of quick progression within the company for talented employees who are fast learners, enjoy extra responsibility and who exceed their sales targets.

Key responsibilities include:

Core understanding of product features and how Boardworks can benefit schools and districts

Generate meetings with districts through extensive cold calling (100+ calls a day)

Consultative sales pitch and discussion with prospective customers

Consistently achieving weekly and monthly targets set by your manager

Other responsibilities include:

Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of the Boardworks resources & the K-12 education market

Updating district information into the company CRM (

Qualifications / experience:

Previous telephone-sales, SDR or lead generation experience

Energetic, organized, reliable, self-motivated, commission-driven and IT literate

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional information:

Compensation: $20 per hour 

Commission: $50 per appointment booked

Hours: Flexible between 8 am - 5 pm (minimum of at least 5 hours a day)
