Sales Development Representative

PeopleGrove - San Francisco, California - Full time

We are looking for a hungry and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team in San Francisco, CA. You will help make a difference at PeopleGrove, driving growth and generating new sales opportunities by prospecting into universities across the country. A successful SDR will be a highly-motivated self-starter who combines professional persistence with strong business acumen and an impeccable attention to detail. Your main focus will be to identify and research target prospects and execute outreach campaigns that evangelize PeopleGrove’s mission: to give every student the connections, advisers and mentors needed to achieve their career, academic and personal goals. The SDR's main focus will be to source opportunities for the Account Executives he or she will be supporting. Requirements:

  • Passion for helping students find great career outcomes
  • At least 1+ years of sales development experience at a software company (a plus if the experience is with universities/higher education)
  • Strong accountability for activity and proven ability to have conversations with director and VP level buyers in mid-sized and larger institutions and / or businesses.
  • Background in social selling / using LinkedIn for prospecting and outreach.
  • Growth-oriented (you appreciate a challenge, like to grow and enjoy tackling new things every day)
  • Willingness to travel
  • Receptive to feedback and hungry to learn
