Sales Development Representative

About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative at KickUp, you will be a vital connection between our marketing efforts and our sales team—generating sales leads and establishing relationships that tee up our account executives for success. An SDR is the very backbone of our revenue team, serving as a behind-the-scenes problem solver on a vibrant team working to grow the business.

Specifically, you will:

  • Reach out to school district leaders engaging with KickUp’s content and event programming to schedule introductory meetings
  • Compile research on prospects, building lead lists for sales team prospecting
  • Create, run, and analyze cold outreach campaigns to engage new prospects in target territories
  • Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) and the rest of the marketing team on territory campaign strategy, messaging, and timing
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings for AEs
  • Capture key prospect data in Marketo and Salesforce

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with:

  • 1-4 years of professional experience, ideally with some K-12 education and/or marketing experience
  • Great communication skills; an SDR writes clearly, confidently, and warmly
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with marketing and sales automation software (particularly Salesforce and Marketo)

Position Details:

This position reports to KickUp's Director of Marketing. It is a full-time position located at our offices in Old City, Philadelphia. We are happy to discuss relocation options with you if you're not currently in Philadelphia but are looking for a chance to move to the city of Brotherly Love!

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000, depending on experience and skillset.
