Sales Development Representative Job Description

CodeHS is looking for a Sales Development Representative to help grow CodeHS and spread computer science education to more students and more schools. Your primary responsibility will be reaching out to school districts via email and phone to set up meetings for district administrators. You'll be working with teachers, school administrators, and school districts.

Responsibilities

  • Email with teachers and school administrators who are interested in CodeHS
  • Phone calls with teachers and school administrators who are interested in CodeHS
  • Cold calling school districts
  • Qualifying leads
  • Help schools turn into CodeHS customers
  • Keep good documentation on your leads and calls, and maintain an organized pipeline
  • Work with other members of the CodeHS sales team

Requirements

  • You are a great communicator
  • Friendly and comfortable on the phone
  • Professional and clear at email
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Passionate about helping students and schools
  • Excited to work at a small company and make a big impact
  • 1-2 years of professional sales experience
  • Edtech sales experience a bonus
  • No experience coding is required, you should have an interest in learning
