Sales Development Representative 2.0 (US - Texas)

We partner with 600 school districts in 47 states, working closely with district and school leaders to create scalable change to instructional practice. We're looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our growing team.

This is not your typical SDR role! This unique Lead Development and Engagement role that focuses on educating and engaging school district leaders during the early stages of the sales process. You will use a consultative approach to engage district administrators as their first point of direct contact with Goalbook to discover their challenges and educate them on our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage district leaders who have actively expressed interest in learning about Goalbook and support the early stage of their buyer journey: discover needs, educate on our value proposition, nurture relationships, and schedule demonstrations.
  • Connect with school leaders who have previously expressed interest in Goalbook and get them re-engaged in learning about our work.
  • Research districts and administrators who may have challenges that Goalbook may solve, but are not aware of our solutions and reach out to get them engaged in learning about our work.
  • Lead and support group webinars attended by district leaders to share an overview of Goalbook and how we empower educators to transform instruction so all students succeed.
  • Assist with the design and production of through leadership webinars featuring national subject matter experts which Goalbook’s support engagement with school district leaders.
  • Provide support for Goalbooks attendance at national and regional conferences which in some cases includes attendance with the territory team
  • Research and collaborate with regional managers on small group presentations to district leaders.
  • 10% travel estimated

        Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years teaching experience
  • 2+ years experience in services or sales
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and persuasion skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit

            Desirable Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years instructional coaching or school leadership experience
