Turnitin is seeking a Sales Associate to join our K-12 Sales Team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary:

The Sales Associate plays a key role in achieving Turnitin’s aggressive customer retention and acquisition goals. A strong performer in this role becomes a valued advisor and expert consultant to K12 school clients. The Sales Associate assures high retention of these customers by consistently providing a superior brand of service.

Position Responsibilities:

-Create a stellar experience with Turnitin by proactively working with existing accounts to improve adoption and usage of Turnitin products.

-Communicate and collaborate effectively across all internal teams and across multiple territories.

-Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer contacts in scheduled health checks

-Conduct needs assessment and license usage analysis for renewals in order to promote products and services which improve and expand the customer experience

-Inform accounts about features and benefits of products and services on a regular and proactive basis using a consultative sales process.

-Document account needs and feedback, and share with sales leadership.

-Ensure that accurate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts are provided to manager

-Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of Turnitin specific systems (Salesforce, TRUE reports, Zoom, etc.)

-Demonstrate initiative to improve understanding of educational trends and legislation across multiple territories.

Required Experience:

-BA/BS degree preferred

-Teaching or district experience a plus

-Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills (particularly via phone and email)

-Proven ability to work effectively with a team

-Ability to work in a high volume environment while responding to customer requests and issues in a timely manner

-Familiarity with use of Apple computers and business applications (e.g. Gmail, Google calendar, Google docs, MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com)
