VeriCite is a rapidly growing SaaS application for detecting plagiarism and is seeking an experienced Account Executive who will lead a range of tasks aimed at corporate growth opportunities. To learn more about VeriCite visit https://vericite.com.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage plan to reach sales quota
  • Nurture leads and close deals generated from the VeriCite website
  • Deliver software demonstrations and sales presentations
  • Monitor the posting of RFPs and manage proposal development
  • Support customers through sales and implementation phases
  • Support customers through renewal cycles to retain and ensure satisfaction
  • Communicate customer feedback to product management team
  • Maintain and share sales forecasts with management
  • Accurately manage customer accounts in billing system
  • Establish strong customer relationships to develop enthusiastic customer ambassadors
  • Monitor relevant online discussion forums and contribute when appropriate
  • Participate in conferences/exhibits as needed

REQUIRED CREDENTIALS

  • 2+ years of experience and proven record in B2B SaaS sales
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited undergraduate institution
  • Outstanding verbal and writing skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently

PREFERRED CREDENTIALS

  • Understanding of ed tech markets and audiences
  • CRM software experience

EXPECTATIONS

  • Quickly develop an intimate understanding of the VeriCite product and audience
  • Understand the ed tech market
  • Take initiative, define and drive projects to success
  • Critical thinker, focused on continuous improvement
  • Detail oriented and organized
