The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Salt Lake City or Hawaii and will have a flexible schedule, allowing for coverage across four time zones. Your primary objective is to build Landed’s long-term revenue growth in the regions you manage. You'll be joining a highly collaborative and cross-functional team that is passionate and focuses on finding win-win scenarios. Our work is deeply personal to our customers, the communities from which they come, and to us – we want humans driving every part of the business that deepens our company’s roots in the places where we operate. It is an ideal role for a mission-oriented, driven relationship builder who is energized by providing meaningful, long-term value to the communities we serve. The result of this work: significantly more essential professionals on a path towards financial security, allowing them to commit to the profession and communities they love.

As a Relationship Manager you will:

  • Manage and engage a pipeline of customers. Organize, analyze and prioritize who to engage using data. You’re constantly thinking about the individual customers you’re working with and what information or resource can best help them. Collaborate closely with Home buying Programs Leads to ensure customers are having a stellar experience through every stage of their home buying process. Once homebuyers become homeowners, you proactively find ways to support them further, which may include letting them know about other opportunities and products at Landed.
  • Nurture relationships with potential homebuyers through calls, texts, emails, or video chats, etc. with a goal to onboard 65+ customers per quarter. Prioritize genuinely understanding who our customers are, what their goals are, and how our products/services may be able to help them achieve their goals. At Landed, we focus on what’s best for each individual buyer -- even when the best option may not result in revenue for Landed. We believe that the best way to build a sustainable and customer-focused organization is by doing the right thing for customers, every time.
  • Deliver a consistent, high quality customer experience to all current and potential Landed customers. Bring genuine curiosity, positivity, and a resourceful, problem-solving orientation to everybody’s unique situations. Focus on providing clear and helpful information to empower customers to what’s right for them. Do the hard work to be transparent and explain the rationale behind decision.
  • Grow impact and brand awareness to reach new potential homebuyers by leveraging customer referrals and growing awareness in Landed markets. You’ll build champions of Landed and you know how to message the mission, purpose, and value of Landed effectively.
  • Deepen partnerships with employers and other organizations. Work with the Employer Partnerships team to launch new partnerships and conduct regular informational sessions. Maintain a high degree of confidence in Landed with existing partner employers and enable them to continue to share news about Landed in order to drive awareness amongst our target customer base.
  • Support customers across metros. Understand real estate norms and localized housing programs in the metros where Landed serves. Act as backup for Relationship Managers in Mountain Time and Pacific Time metros.

We think you'd be a great fit for this role if:

  • You have at least 4 years of customer-facing work experience, and a background working in the real estate housing industry in any capacity (lending, sales, etc.), and willingness to obtain a real estate license if you don't already have one.
  • You have experience with the home buying process. This could be through real estate sales, purchasing your own home, or supporting family or friends purchasing a home.
  • You will be an advocate for Landed and comfortable talking to a large, diverse group of homebuyers every day and motivated to enroll others in something you believe in.
  • You are familiar with what it's like working for a high growth startup company and your natural mode is to be positive. You’re willing and excited to learn from failure, and get right back at it. You embrace change.
  • You have a comfort and a willingness to learn our systems (Hubspot, Slack, etc), and use data daily in your role. You have great CRM database management skills. Excited to work remotely but travel occasionally to support other regions in the US.
  • You are a networker and have experience and connections in education, healthcare or government.
  • You are comfortable with extended time on the phone, zoom and email.
  • You have a flexible schedule where you are able to cover calls across four western US time zones (from Hawaii Time to Mountain Time).

We would be even more excited if:

  • You are fluent in Spanish.

This role may not be for candidates who are looking for:

  • An established position with precedent to follow and a set blueprint to carry out; we need self-starters.
  • Easy hours, low risk, slow paced. A strategy role without execution.
  • More time in the field than on the phone.
  • Flexibility to be a real estate agent on the side.

Here are some more specifics:

  • This is a full-time, exempt role for applicants in California, Washington or Oregon. The salary is geographically dependent with equity at a high-profile, Series A start-up.
  • We offer full health & wellness benefits, including a wealth of other benefits to support your professional growth. We also encourage and accommodate schedules that take into consideration the diversity of responsibilities and goals our teammates have outside of the office.
