Regional Solutions Manager (Sales)-Southwest Territory

BellXcel - Remote - Full time

Position Overview

The RSM is responsible for helping BellXcel to achieve both revenue goals and those that allow us to positively impact the lives of as many children as possible. BellXcel’s mission is for all children to excel. We do this by providing youth programs with the tools and resources they need to run high-quality programs.

Position Accountabilities

The RSM will be responsible for driving new business by qualifying leads, opportunity creation, presentations and demonstrations of the BellXcel platform, and signing new customers within a defined territory. The primary audience for BellXcell’s solutions are Superintendents, Principals, CAOs, Expanded or Extended Learning, and other leaders in youth programming for summer and afterschool at both public and private elementary and Middle Schools and districts.

A proven record of new partner acquisitions and consistently meeting or exceeding goals is essential in this role. This is a remote position-Territory-Eastern US

Specific accountabilities include:

  • This is a sales hunter position
  • Creating, Implementing, and Maintaining an annual territory plan
  • Maintaining consistent and efficient daily prospecting metrics
  • Managing an enterprise SaaS solution sale with a 3-6 month purchasing cycle and multiple stakeholders.
  • CRM Hygiene-Timely pipeline updates and opportunity creation using SalesForce.
  • Learning about the appropriate funding streams (ESSER, ESSA, Title 1, 21st CCLC, etc.) and how to consult potential customers on ways they can pay for their programs.
  • Attending and participating in sales meetings, product seminars, and trade shows.
  • Preparing presentations, MOUs, and price quotations.
  • Managing sales pipeline of $2 million to $4 million. (with ability to impact 15k-35k children)

Position Requirements:

  • Multiple years of exceeding sales targets with a senior-level buyer
  • Previous SaaS business experience, selling into schools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in a remote office environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Growth mindset
  • Excel at building and leveraging strong relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using the following:
    • SalesForce or similar CRM
    • Microsoft Suite of Tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
    • Google Suite of Tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
    • SalesLoft or other sales automation tools
  • Willingness to travel 40% a year (Outside of the pandemic)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably within a SaaS company
