Regional Sales Manager

Galaxy Next Generation - Remote - Full time

Galaxy Next Generation, a leading public company focused on education technology solutions to K-12 and Higher Education, is seeking qualified regional sales managers to support the rapid growth of it's G2 product line.

The ideal candidates will bring high energy to the position along with a proven track record of territory development and growth, preferably via a reseller model. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping us achieve our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives in 2022 and beyond.

Enhancing the classroom, school, and student safety involves utilizing digital content, learning data, and one-of-a-kind technologies in order to create an immersive and interactive experience whether at home or at school.

The key functional responsibility for this position is to expand the market footprint for the G2 product line via reseller channel development, focused on the K-12 and Higher Ed markets. This is a quota carrying role, with the primary goal for the position being able to generate new and incremental revenue within the territory in an expedited timeline.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate interest in G2 technology products by qualifying prospects (resellers and end users), presenting solutions and closing sales.
  • Identify revenue opportunities with channel partners through frequent communication and specific targeted activities.
  • Provide comprehensive training to channel partners to enable them to provide quality demonstrations of the G2 product suite.
  • Manage the territory sales pipeline with accuracy while consistently developing sales strategies with channel partners that maximize sales opportunities.
  • Work with the Galaxy purchasing and logistics departments to prepare product/ shipping quotes based on opportunities.
  • Track order flow for partners and end users, monitor delivery schedules and manage all customer communications in a time sensitive manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift/transport up to 50 lb. on an occasional basis.

  • FUNCTIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Must be a self-motivated and results driven individual.• Must have the ability to recruit, engage and develop potential resellers into proactive advocates for the G2 product line.• 
  • Must be skilled in advancing the sales process, specifically increasing revenue contribution from existing customer base while closing new opportunities.• 
  • Must have a track proven track record of achieving revenue milestones in measured time frames. 
  • Must be passionate about technology, specifically exhibiting a technical aptitude that reflects a comprehensive understanding of classroom technology and be able to articulate the technology to both the reseller and the end user.
  • Prefer proven experience in working with cross-functional teams. Position will require interfacing with our engineering, product development and marketing departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects/requests simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communications skills.• Prefer previous experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office and Zoom.

    Compensation: Salary + Commission. OTE in Year 1 - $150K
