Regional Sales Director - SoCal and Texas markets

Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking a Regional Sales Directors with sales in their DNA and a rolodex of potential leads throughout the key regions of Southern California and Texas. You’ll maintain a pipeline of leads that you’ll work to convert into sales as well as conduct outreach as we look to expand into new regions and districts. You’ll also help mentor and build out our regional sales team presence throughout your assigned territory and region. As a member of the team, you aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and help scale into the growth that's at our fingertips. Most importantly you share in our mission to improve the lives of students.

This role will require you to:

  • Create and execute a strategy to target districts by working closely with our marketing team and doing direct outreach to reach key decision makers
    • Whenever possible, utilize your extensive contacts throughout the region to target key contacts
  • Know the ParentSquare platform inside and out so that you’re able to effectively communicate our key features, benefits and key differentiators to prospects
  • Manage, track and keep your pipeline well organized using Hubspot
  • Most importantly, close business and drive revenue in a strategic and methodical way by studying and navigating the sales process, engaging stakeholders and decision makers, conducting effective demo’s and ultimately obtaining a signed contract
  • Attend (post COVID) conferences that will lead to new demo’s and overall interest for ParentSquare within your region
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless handover post-sale with detailed and accurate notes from the sales process
  • Be a champion of ParentSquare’s product, reputation and features at all time

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 3+ years of Edtech sales experience with a proven track record of success in opening new territories
  • Hubspot experience, preferred
  • Tech savvy (from GSuite to navigating our platform)
  • Ability (and desire) to travel extensively, once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted
  • 4 year college degree, preferred
  • Reside in your targeted region (not mandatory as long as contacts are in market)
