Regional Sales Director

ParentSquare provides a complete suite of tools to keep all parents informed and involved, from the ways they prefer to be notified - email, text, voice, web, app, social - to the ways they want to get involved - sign ups, payments, RSVPs, language translations, chat and more. We are constantly innovating to provide simpler, more intuitive tools that can be easily used by all educators and parents transcending the barriers of technology and language.

We have built a solid foundation – a great platform people are using, a great team that knows how to deliver, and solid systems that are allowing us to scale. The next step in our journey is to continue to get ParentSquare in front of new districts and decision makers. To do that, we need an experienced and passionate sales professional who can help us identify and cultivate new opportunities, capitalize on existing opportunities and turn our leads into long-term customers.

Who we’re looking for

We are seeking a true sales ninja! You have sales in your DNA with a proven track record in ed-tech sales. You’ve worked with superintendents, CTO’s and PIO’s and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, knock on doors and track down leads. You have an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and share our passion in providing a product that will make a difference in student’s lives.

This highly visible role is vital to our continued success and will require the following:

Being a true sales driver:

  • Actively prospecting and developing a sales pipeline of leads
  • Running the sales process from initial contact to successful close
  • Refine and maintain a key contacts list for targeted schools and districts
  • Build relationships with key contacts for future opportunities
  • Identifying upselling opportunities with our current accounts

Owning the sales process:

  • Working closely with our customer success team, you’ll ensure our accounts have a seamless experience post sale
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure collateral material needs are met to provide effective messaging for each sales channel
  • Identifying improvements to our current sales and operations process as needed

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • A background or training in K-12 education industry sales
  • Experience any of the following regions: Northeast, Southeast, Southern CA, Arizona and Texas
  • 3+ years B2B experience
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Tech savvy (from GSuite to Slack to various CRM systems)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to identify decision makers and how to reach them
