Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate, ambitious, and creative demand generation manager that thrives in a fast paced, innovative work environment and who is inspired to try new things.

The Regional Demand Generation Manager will be responsible for the overall demand strategy for our leading literacy and language acquisition product and services in an assigned geographic region. This person will analyze industry trends, align with sales goals, create appropriate strategies and tactics through collaboration with a variety of internal stakeholders, and then execute and analyze results on those strategies. The Regional Demand Generation Manager is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to develop strategic and tactical plans based on regional business objectives, executing multi-channel marketing campaigns and reporting on the outcomes of the campaigns compared to business objectives. The Regional Demand Generation Manager creates full funnel acquisition, engagement, and conversion campaigns, contributes toward building a regional pipeline, and delivers marketing qualified leads (MQL) for Lexia Learning products and services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demand Generation, from marketing programs planning through reporting on the outcomes of campaigns compared to business objectives.
  • Plan, design, create and execute multi-tactic marketing programs for both demand generation and lead nurturing programs. Tactics may include content syndication, email marketing, events and webinars, direct mail, telemarketing, print advertising, paid media, etc.
  • Provide highly disciplined and organized project management and excellent communication across functional teams.
  • Build strong partnering relationships, collaborate and manage inside and external resources as needed to execute programs.
  • Analyze results of marketing programs and identify ways to improve effectiveness.
  • Identify, qualify and manage internal and outside agencies as needed to execute activities.
  • Manage assigned budgets and duties as required.
  • Develop and create annual marketing plans, and identify the knowledge the sales team needs to be successful.
  • Develop and execute customer acquisition to drive significant customer and sales growth.
  • Create and test campaigns iteratively to maximize conversion.
  • Provide reporting and actively monitor and analyze the health of marketing contribution to the sales pipeline, program ROI, customer acquisition and penetration, contact acquisition and activity.
  • Partner with marketing operations and shared services to drive marketing database strategy and execute on campaigns, i.e. design and editorial services.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • Must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, and to oversee and deploy team resources to execute multiple projects simultaneously while also working effectively under the pressure of deadlines and evolving priorities.

Job Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience creating multi-channel marketing programs with emphasis on demand and lead generation, and optimizing campaigns to increase conversions. Some ABM experience is preferred.
  • Must be a strong communicator and collaborator with ability to elicit ideas and feedback from a variety of organizations.
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to understand business needs and industry trends.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills, to own project plans through the lifecycle of various projects.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com reporting and understanding of marketing automation systems.
  • Experience in education technology, publishing, or software marketing is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree with Marketing specialty area of focus.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders to create messaging and collateral.
  • Experience working with graphic designers or creative professionals to develop collateral that reflects the product brand and needs of the target audience.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with little supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong familiarity with marketing automation software, Eloqua preferred.
  • Experience using and tracking leads in Salesforce.com and analyzing data.
  • Proven experience in a wide variety of inbound/outbound marketing disciplines, including social media (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn), paid and organic search, advertising, retargeting, email, direct and event marketing.
  • Exceptional command of the English language including verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leader, team-player and self-motivator with the ability to get the job done.
  • Regularly evaluate KPIs and other data to continuously improve the delivery of important information to key audiences.
