About the Job

We are looking for a results-driven individual to join our team as a Regional Client Success Director. The Regional Director is responsible for managing a team of 3-4 Client Success Managers and a portfolio of 50+ client accounts.

  • Oversee and manage a regional client portfolio of over 50 client accounts and $13MM+ revenue, focusing on client retention and increasing student utilization and revenue
  • Directly manage a team of 3-4 Client Success Managers, providing day-to-day direction and guidance for questions and escalations.
  • Maintain direct client success responsibilities for a limited profile of accounts within regional territory, driving toward collecting complete booklists and strong student utilization of the online bookstore.
  • Work closely with and guide Client Success Managers during client onboarding to ensure timely launch of the online bookstore.
  • Collaborate closely with other internal teams to ensure client projects deadlines are met
  • Monitor and report on region performance regarding textbook adoptions, student utilization, and overall revenue. Identify areas of weakness and create action plans for improvement.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior-level contacts at institutions within your region
  • Develop deep understanding and familiarity with company initiatives and services and train and update your regional team on new offerings.
  • Develop deep familiarity with internal Akademos systems and the Adoption and Analytics Portal. Train new users and troubleshoot common errors with adoption submissions.
  • Identify areas for client growth and collaborate closely with the Account Development team to execute them.
  • Provide support to head of group and develop recommendations in regards to process improvements and analysis of core systems utilized for gaps/opportunities
  • Actively advocate for changes to systems utilized that will drive scalability and efficiency

About you

  • Highly self-sufficient and motivated
  • Extremely organized with proven ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work cross departmentally to ensure the success of client programs
  • Deep understanding of project management, workflow and infrastructure
  • Professional demeanor and an ability to work well under pressure
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Mastery of G-Suite tools, Microsoft Office, and virtual presentation software
  • At ease with public speaking, including the ability to lead meetings or host webinars
  • Detail oriented with strong data and analytical skills

About Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven success with project management or client services
  • 3+ years in a high-growth, data-driven environment
  • 3+ years experience managing direct reports
  • Experience with Zendesk, Freshdesk, ServiceNow and similar systems preferred

Position type: Full time; Remote. (Tri state area / East Coast preferred)

Travel: 15%
