E-Line is a leading developer and publisher of game-based learning products and services that empower young people to understand and shape their world. Our work in the formal and informal learning spaces has focused on connecting the natural interest and passion of youth for playing and making video games with innovative opportunities to develop design, critical thinking, coding and collaboration skills. E-Line’s products and services have helped empower young people to make over 1.5 million games that have been played tens of millions of times.

We recently announced an initiative to further these efforts by creating a network of hands-on, youth-led game making studios (http://studios.elinemedia.com) and are seeking an experienced business development professional to support the growth of this network in the New York City metro region. We anticipate that the position will begin as a part time or flexible engagement, with the opportunity to grow into a full time one.

● A personal passion for gaming, as well as a literacy of games and gaming history;

● Excitement at the prospect of working in a frenetic, rapidly-evolving environment;

● Excellent written and oral communication skills;

Areas of Responsibility

● Lead online, social media and real-world community building efforts for E-Line’s New York region hands-on learning programs;

● Develop prospects for program venues such as schools, universities, after school programs, youth-serving nonprofits and camps;

● Help develop and execute regional marketing strategy to make potential customers aware of the program using a variety of marketing techniques such as online marketing, earned and paid media, events, networking within parent and educator communities and other community-based approaches;
