Recruiter (San Mateo, CA)

IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 11 million students worldwide, is seeking a highly motivated Recruiter to help us hire top talent. As a Recruiter at IXL, you will work side by side with the recruiting team, hiring managers, and peers across many teams within IXL to ensure that we hire the best individuals to work toward our mission.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have strong candidate closing skills.

This is a full time position at IXL Headquarters in San Mateo, CA. It may begin as remote, but will transition back to in-office when it is safe to do so.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs and support in-house recruiting efforts
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for junior, mid and senior level technical openings
• Foster long-term relationships with high-caliber talent and build the best network of candidates for our teams
• Become an expert on IXL Learning and speak to candidates about our products, positions, and company culture
• Maintain a seamless and efficient candidate experience that results in a positive impression of IXL Learning, regardless of the outcome
• Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for on-site interview candidates

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• BA/BS degree required
• 1+ years of experience as a full cycle Recruiter required
• Strong eye for talent and an excellent ability to connect candidates with the right opportunities
• Passionate about education and technology
• Highly self-motivated and driven to go above and beyond what is required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and ability to cultivate great relationships with stakeholders and candidates
• High-volume recruiting background
• Experience with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter or other sourcing/ATS applications
