At ASU Prep Digital, we are building digital learning products that will overhaul the entire landscape of K-12 education. Inspired and led by the ASU Charter, ASU Prep Digital’s (ASUPD) product team is executing on a long-term vision to build innovative, online learning experiences that significantly improve student performance, provide access to educational pathways, and embrace the post-pandemic demand for remote (online) and accessible education platforms.
The Learning Cloud platform and full suite of next-generation online courses - which are scheduled to be released via a multi-phased roadmap into year 2026 - will leverage adaptive learning technologies to meet students where they are with fully personalized learning and individualized pacing. Our learning products will feature entirely custom experiential learning environments that leverage the most engaging and immersive technologies to design a discovery-based and learner outcome-centered approach. Drawing from ASU’s pervasive culture of innovation, the ASUPD product team is creating the future of learning, and we are expanding our world class team to ensure the success of this long-term vision.
We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist who will collaborate with curriculum, product management, design, engineering, and support teams to realize the next generation of learning products for our Learning Cloud product suite. This is a contract position up to 40 hours per week.
The job:
Are you someone with an extreme attention to detail and a commitment to meeting the highest standards of quality? Are you self-motivated with strong investigative skills? Are you passionate about online education and/or interested in learning more about software as a service (SaaS) for students and teaching professionals? If so, we’d love to talk to you! The Quality Assurance Specialist that we are seeking will ensure overall quality of the Learning Cloud platform and education products. Most of your time will be spent ensuring that our platform features and courses appear as designed, can be used by our broad user audience without bugs or errors, comply with accessibility standards, and operate seamlessly across devices and browsers.
You’ll collaborate directly with our curriculum and content team, product managers, designers and engineers to understand the intended course experience so that you can better anticipate functional issues, execute on QA testing, and report issues and inconsistencies in the product. You will use your highly detail-oriented manual testing skills to catch user-facing issues which our automated testing processes missed. And, since we can’t wait to release until everything is “perfect”, we will expect you to collaborate with our curriculum and student support teams to replicate and report issues found in production for the development team to correct, and re-test before and after deployment.
