Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a versatile and detail oriented Quality Assurance Engineer that will be responsible for creating and executing end-to-end test plans for new and existing product features. Responsibilities include the functional testing of several customer facing products as well as the backend including how the data is stored. The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to quickly learn the product, pay attention to detail, and work in a team-oriented environment that rapidly evolves with our customers’ necessities. A strong background in the English language and the ability to test the product from a customer perspective is desired.

This position will work in our Concord, MA office.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work on an agile team as the QA representative
  • Create, execute, and maintain test cases for new features
  • Help identify new features for Selenium automation to expand on our automated regression suite
  • Work with other teams such as but not limited to support, development, creative, educational content, and research experts to identify, reproduce, and document defects
  • Conduct functional testing on products and features to ensure optimum performance
  • Understanding of browser debugging and console tools
  • Ability to query databases in order to validate product data
  • Work with other team experts (i.e. support, development, creative, educational content, and research) to identify, reproduce, and document defects
  • Prioritize multiple, simultaneous assignments from within and outside of the QA group, including offshore contacts


  • 3+ years customer product support that results in a customer first approach
  • Ability to query and extract data from a database
  • Passion for finding inefficiencies and the desire to constantly improve
  • Experience with JIRA to create and track issues within multiple products
  • Self motivated and takes pride in their work, strong follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently and within teams
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills

Ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of software quality assurance experience
  • Experience with test management systems, specifically TestLink
  • Familiar with API tools such as PostMan
  • Knowledge of Agile development practices
  • Strong spreadsheet skills using Excel/Google Docs
