Project Manager

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee client engagements. The ideal candidate will have a background in project management and client relations. This person should also be a systems-thinker, a self-starter, highly organized and a strong collaborator.

This position is a full-time, salaried position reporting to the Executive Director, Operations. It is based out of our offices in San Francisco. Remote candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute full lifecycle of new client engagements including project design, project communications, and operations oversight;
  • Collaborate with VP, Simulation Design and Human Performance and Simulation Specialists to customize learning experiences to meet client need;
  • Oversee ongoing client engagement including regular relationship management and developing content for newsletter and phone calls;
  • Develop and improve systems for project oversight and knowledge management;
  • Serve as project management system administrator, including developing weekly cycles to keep system updated and onboard new Mursion staff to the system;
  • Collaborate with Executive Director, Operations to develop best practices and trainings for project management;
  • Collaborate with Executive Director, Operations, and VP, Product Strategy, to develop enhancements to the Mursion product that enhance usability and the client experience.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in project or program management
  • Strong background in CRM, knowledge management, project management, and/or technical systems
  • Experience working directly with external stakeholders or clients
  • Solid written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Self-starter, able to own and deliver on large chunks of work
  • Demonstrated team player
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree
  • Experience in a tech start-up, diversity and inclusion content, education, or in the arts and entertainment industry a plus.
