Program Specialist, Teen Advisory Board Coordinator

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Role A: BeMe Youth Advisory Board (75%):

●Manage the day-to-day operations of the Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

●Grow TAB membership and onboard new TAB members 

●Special focus on growing TAB with the following groups:

   ○Student Leadership Councils

   ○Teen POC

   ○Native Youth

●Build and foster community with our TAB

●Manage, prepare content, and facilitate weekly Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meetings

Role B: Community Management (10%):

●Provide community moderation backup support on TAB Slack and BeMe social channels for abusive behaviors, bullying & crisis incidents

●Coordinate with the clinical team to schedule AMA and Q&A on BeMe socials (IG, Reddit, Tumblr, YouTube)

Role C: Teen Research (15%)

●Conduct research for the clinical, youth, and/or content team(s)

●Use research software (TypeForm, Polly) to conduct a research survey

●Write executive summaries of the research, prepare presentations and/or other outputs documents as directed by the Executive team, Chief Youth Officer, or Product team

QUALIFICATIONS

●Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

●Experience working in a high school, junior high as a teacher, guidance counselor, or another role that required interaction with tweens and teens

●Experience collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders

●Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

●Strong interpersonal skills

●Ability to work independently. Strong prioritization and time management skills.
