Program Manager, Innovation Events

As Program Manager, you will create positive, high-quality experiences for groups of leaders from leading corporations, NGO’s, and government agencies. Working together with our Product Design, Sales, Curriculum, Events, and Faculty Operations teams, you will assist with the design and delivery of innovative and engaging programs. You will also act as the primary point of contact for our clients throughout the program development process.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with defining needs analysis and goal scoping for each project.
  • Ensure seamless hand-off and smooth, high-touch client experience from launch to completion of program delivery.
  • Collaborate with Design and Curriculum teams on program content, agenda, and tools.
  • Coordinate and execute all program logistics and operations, including coordination of program delivery team, scheduling of client and internal meetings, delivery of materials, room set-up, and more.
  • Match faculty expertise and skills to program designs and work with Faculty Operations to manage faculty booking requests.
  • Brief SU faculty (presenters), facilitators, designers and illustrators on client’s needs, audience, and event details.
  • Create and maintain client and program folders, documents, and meeting notes.
  • Act as on-site support during client programs.
  • Manage and track spending against the approved budget.
  • Conduct post-program analysis, lead debrief sessions, and manage program surveys.

Our Requirements (you must have):

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least two years of relevant experience, with responsibility for either event management or program management.

  • An advanced degree from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience in corporate innovation or marketing, or a deep understanding of design thinking techniques and principles.
  • Experience working with speakers and subject matter experts.
  • A passion for Singularity University’s mission.

  • A bias for taking initiative.
  • A history of success:
    • Creatively solving complex problems.
