Greenfield Learning is a highly respected distributor of technology-based reading programs for all students in Pre-K–13. We are expanding our network of trainers to meet growing customer interest. Be part of our growth as we help schools implement programs that are proven to help all students become successful.

The Professional Development Consultants for Greenfield Learning will work from home and travel to school sites to support the company’s overall goal of ensuring student academic success by providing professional development to the teachers and administrators who are implementing our educational programs. We have selected Lexia, Reading Plus and Symphony Math as our exclusive partners based on strict criteria and research proven success.

Part-time, flexible, occasional schedule to meet our customers’ needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional development for teachers and administrators on program usage.
  • Provide professional development and support to teachers and administrators related to best practices for data and instruction.
  • Take proactive steps to support successful program usage as needed and report back results.
  • Assist Greenfield Learning’s Educational Consultants and the Director of Implementation and Professional Development as needed.
  • Keep up-to-date on program improvements.
  • Work remotely from a location in the Central Valley, Ca.
  • Periodic travel within the State of California, 2x/yr 
  • travel to Boston.

Qualifications:

  • Availability to facilitate professional development sessions during typical school and after school hours and for travel.
  • Strong training and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate educators in a large & small group training settings.
  • Previous exposure to educational concepts such as instructional design, data-driven instruction, effective literacy teaching practices, and personalized learning and blended learning.
  • Experience with Web-based training.
  • Knowledge of the Common Core State Standards.
  • Knowledge of Google Drive and other Google Apps, PPT and Microsoft Office.
  • Classroom teaching experience, especially Literacy, Language Arts or Intervention
  • Classroom experience with Lexia and Reading Plus. (Preferred)
  • Instructional Leader, Curriculum Director, Principal. (Preferred)
  • 4 year college degree in related field such as Elementary Education, or Administration. (Preferred)
  • Reliable transportation and valid CA driver's license.
