Why we need you:

A Professional Development Associate is a key member of the Professional Development Team, responsible for supporting the Professional Development Specialists with addressing training needs for clients that fall into our Small & Medium-sized Business (SMB) band. Responsibilities include performing PD Planning Calls, conducting product training and facilitation of Open Enrollment sessions. A good candidate is self-motivated, articulates themselves well in front of a group of people, has problem-solving skills and is quick to learn.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist Professional Development Specialists with the professional learning life cycle for our SMB clients.
  • Perform training via online webinars and/or onsite sessions with clients and staff.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure the success of the training delivered.
  • Assist with the administrative tasks for tracking training progress for clients.
  • Process client evaluations and compile evaluation data.
  • Assist the Learning and Innovation team on the delivery of Continuing Education courses.
  • Assist in the designing and development of curriculum for the Schoology platform.
  • Develop resources to support the delivery of training around the Schoology platform.
  • Assist in documenting and reviewing processes and procedures for the Professional Development Team.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a training or teaching environment.
  • The ability to travel for client and staff training events up to 30% of the time.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the MS Office and Google platforms.
  • Some familiarity with various web meeting software tools.
  • Highly organized with the ability to learn quickly, understand and explain educational and technical information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and communicate information precisely.
  • The ability to develop creative solutions for client needs and company goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; highly motivated and flexible.
  • Works well independently and in a team environment.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work autonomously and manage assignments simultaneously is required.
  • Experience with Schoology or another LMS is preferred.
