SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Professional Development Associate Director will contribute to the growth and success of Engineering is Elementary's (EiE) Professional Development course portfolio and team. They will support EiE as a whole by understanding the functions and needs of each team and then ensuring the Professional Development team's efforts are aligned with overall team goals. The Professional Development Associate Director for EiE will develop training plans, support teams in managing and scheduling workshops.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage 5-10 grants and grant proposals and interface with funders
  • Oversee a team of 4-6 professional development managers with annual revenue of $400k
  • Travel to deliver 5-10 workshops and/or conference presentations yearly

WORK SCHEDULE:

This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.

REPORTS TO:

Director, Operations & Professional Development

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors of Science or Arts degree
  • 5 or more years of education or professional development experience
  • Experience in managing budgets, partnerships, creating/reviewing contracts, and growing revenue
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently through all aspects of partnership agreements
  • Experience in creating and updating Professional Development content
  • Experience collaborating with sales team
  • Experience with Salesforce and other management tools
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver professional development experiences

STARTING SALARY:

Exempt (Salaried). Commensurate with experience.
