We are currently seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive marketing and sales enablement for a key product line in our expanding K-12 literacy portfolio. The Product Marketing Manager is an essential member of the Lexia team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Marketing. Working collaboratively with fellow marketing team members, as well as colleagues in Product Management, Education and Research, and Sales, the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for providing marketing support through all stages of the product lifecycle. The Product Marketing Manager will define and execute marketing strategies to develop awareness and foster lead generation and support the Sales organization with the tools and product knowledge needed to secure new business and renewals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Marketing team’s lead liaison on Lexia’s products to communicate product features, functionality, and enhancements
  • Manage all market-facing communication aspects of the product life-cycle process including:
    • Marketing strategy and relevant communication for designated products
    • Print and digital collateral
    • Awareness and lead generation campaigns
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement and support tools including:
    • Sales presentation decks and scripting
    • Product demos
    • Competitive analysis
  • Develop product-specific messaging for the sales and marketing teams
  • Deliver product presentations for prospects and customers as needed in the form of conference presentations and webinars

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing, preferably in the educational publishing or educational technology fields
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a product marketing role
  • Demonstrated experience supporting marketing programs for large, national sales organizations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical, resourceful, and thoughtful team player with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to write own marketing copy
  • Experience presenting in a professional setting
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
  • Familiarity with the purchasing processes and influencers in the K–12 education market is beneficial, but not required
