About Us

We’re looking for an established Product Marketing Manager who can help Classroom, Inc. achieve its ambitious goals of dramatic growth in users, significant improvements to user retention, and continuous enhancements to product usability and program efficacy. We’re building transformative digital learning products and programs for schools across the country, and we’re ready to work with more educators than ever before.

About You

  • You have experience as a data-driven outbound product marketer at a company building web apps, especially education technology apps.
  • You are keen to produce messaging and positioning for products, which will drive demand.
  • You fit seamlessly into an environment comprised of specialized teams such as design, engineering, and research, all attempting to “do more with less”.

Responsibilities

  • Demand Gen: Create demand gen programs and own the funnel of new users, from attracting and acquisition, to onboarding and ultimately product usage.
  • Data-Driven Marketing: Review funnel performance data constantly and pursue opportunities for refinement with the product and program teams, including digital advertising, landing page creation, and new feature promotion to current and existing users.
  • Brand Awareness: Keep brand awareness high by placing Classroom, Inc. at the right place, at the right time, whether it’s a product review on EdSurge, a game demo on BrainPOP, or a panel discussion at SXSWedu.
  • Distribution Strategies: Build and execute strategic partnerships with digital distribution channels, including Amazon Inspire, Khan Academy, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
  • Website Maintenance: Manage the Classroom, Inc. website to feature our products, including copy, imagery, information architecture, user journeys, and original content.
  • Content Marketing: Use content marketing strategies to share student and educator testimonials, case studies of school partners, endorsements from experts, and educational resources. Leverage engagement with educators, thought leaders, and media on social media, and promote usage of the product.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor learning games and education technology markets, and make refinements to messaging and product positioning based on growth trends, user expectations of technology, and competitive developments. Identify new markets for outbound marketing programs.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with all teams at Classroom, Inc. to support our ambitious strategic plan, which focuses on new user acquisition and existing user retention.
