Product Marketing Manager

We are looking for an insights-driven Product Marketing Manager to join our growing Product Marketing and Sales Enablement team. This person is an experienced education marketer with a customer-first mindset whose work will directly inform the vision, strategy, and execution of full-funnel marketing campaigns for our suite of institutional products (BrainPOP K-8, BrainPOP Science, BrainPOP ELL). This role will report directly to the Associate Director of Product Marketing.

You will work directly with key marketing, sales, and product stakeholders to develop product positioning, messaging and sales enablement materials that support go-to-market plans for new product and feature launches. You will collaborate with design and copywriting teams to conceptualize assets such as one-pagers, sales toolkits, landing pages, email, social media campaigns, building presentations for internal and external use. Your work will help drive awareness, consideration, and usage of BrainPOP’s institutional products to national and international markets.

In this role, you will:

  • Create comprehensive go-to-market plans including product messaging and packaging, user and buyer personas, as well as their tactical execution
  • Help drive go-to-market (GTM) strategy for product and feature launches, lead cross-functional GTM initiatives and oversee their planning and execution
  • Partner with creative, copywriting, and sales teams to create integrated sales enablement packages and materials, including one-pagers, landing pages, white papers, and outreach campaigns
  • Translate market research, industry and curriculum trends, and teacher needs into national marketing campaigns for school teachers and administrators.
  • Enable and educate sales teams on best practices for communicating product value across various user and buyer personas
  • Embody BrainPOP’s brand values of “lead with empathy” and “create simplicity” as a driving force for all customer-centric messaging
  • Build a deep understanding of all institutional products including user and buyer personas, key audience needs, and competitive insights
  • Keep abreast of changing market landscape to ensure messaging and materials continue to resonate with customer needs

Your resume includes:

  • 3+ years of relevant K-12 marketing experience across product marketing, sales enablement, content marketing, or external communications functions
  • Experience working directly with sales teams, preferably in K-12 edtech. Collaboration with UXR and/or product teams is a bonus
  • Experience working closely with a creative team to draft creative briefs and manage key deliverable timelines
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex problems into simple, streamlined solutions across departments
  • Software experience including but not limited to JIRA, Asana, Highspot, Canva
