Product Marketing Associate (Remote)

About the Role:

The Product Marketing team at DreamBox Learning is the driving force behind getting products and services to market and keeping them there. The Product Marketing Associate will report to the Vice President of Product Marketing and will become a face and voice of our Reading solutions, both internally and externally. Core to this role is a deep understanding of our literacy and reading offerings, who they help and how they are used in K-12 school districts across the country. This role will apply deep product, customer, and market knowledge to develop and inform positioning, messaging and cross-functional initiatives across sales, marketing, customer success and support. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing an in-depth understanding of our reading solutions, the target market, personas needs and pains, and associated buyer journey.
  • Collaborating across product subject-matter-experts and go-to-market stakeholders to deliver market-ready solutions designed to inform and drive company goals.
  • Defining solution positioning and messaging, including identification of client and prospect needs, and competitive differentiators.
  • Working with market facing teams to communicate our value proposition to appropriate personas for customers and prospects.
  • Managing and developing the creation of effective sales tools and assets, including sales training.
  • Being a reliable, thoughtful, effective voice for strategies and tactics to support the sales of reading solutions.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, marketing or a related field
  • 1+ years of applicable B2B product, services or solutions marketing experience
  • Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to translate customer needs into product capabilities to inform effective messaging and positioning
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with leaders across product, sales, marketing and customer success teams
  • Creative problem solver that identifies new and innovative ways to grow the business
  • Practical experience in K-12 education or learning technology industry a plus, but not required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
