IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 14 million students worldwide, is seeking a Product Manager to join our Rosetta Stone team. In this role, you will refine and create effective and impactful digital solutions for language learners of all ages. You will collaborate with design, content, and engineering teams to synthesize data from a variety of sources into meaningful requirements and features that will help our users successfully reach their language learning goals.
This is a full-time hybrid position in either our Raleigh, NC, or San Mateo, CA office.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Collaborate internally to evolve the product, helping to determine which developments make the greatest impact, and seeing them through to completion
- Clarify customer needs into simple “can do” user stories actionable for designers and software engineers to build upon
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams throughout the end-to-end product development process
- Define product roadmaps and determine requirements for each release
- Participate in priority triaging with other team members, balancing customer impact with the level of effort across product teams
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- BA/BS degree
- 3+ years of product management experience
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially engineering and design teams
- An excitement for creating and communicating product vision and specifications to all teams across the organization
- Approach challenges with flexibility and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively through change
- Strong analytical skills - ability to provide high quality, efficient, creative solutions to complex problems
- Detail-oriented with the ability to pull back and see the big picture. Skill in prioritizing based on what is likely to best drive business outcomes
- Highly motivated with a resourceful, tactical approach
- Creativity, open-mindedness, and an unfailingly positive attitude
