Product Manager

This Product Manager will have the responsibility for driving product strategy for the curriculum areas in Nursing Education of Concepts-Based Curriculum and Master’s Level Nursing (MSN). It will include management of our established Concepts based product, as well as exploring new opportunities.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

The Product Manager’s primary responsibilities include:

Be the end-to-end owner of the product; define the customer experience, manage the business case, identify value propositions, and build out the high-level user stories.

Develop deep understanding of Nursing Education customers and their needs; serve as the market expert for Concept-based nursing curriculum and Master’s Level Nursing

Conduct lean experiments to validate product ideas

Develop and maintain the product roadmap

Collaborate with the content team to drive content strategy for products

Collaborate with product owners, engineering, content team, marketing to develop products and launch them in market

Analyze market trends and monitor competitor activity

Identify new opportunities for revenue growth in Nursing Education focused on Concepts based curriculum and MSN

Provide support to the sales and marketing teams by communicating the value of product features and functionality

Determine measurable metrics to determine the success of the product, specific product features, and experiments to drive product investments and new product offerings

Own the financials, including sales projections and costs for your products

Develop and present business cases for larger investments and new products

Be the advocate for your products within the organization

Job Qualifications

Education: College degree (BA/BS) required

Experience: 3+ years experience in product management, business development and/or acquisitions. Product Management experience with higher education products desirable.

Experience in the Higher Education market

Experience bringing new products to market

Familiarity with the agile development process

Travel requirements

20-30% travel required
