Product Manager, IXL Mobile Apps (San Mateo, CA)

IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company with products used by 13 million students worldwide, is seeking a Product Manager to oversee the development of our mobile applications. As the Mobile Product Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy, product offering, and user experience across IXL’s native iOS and Android apps. This is a high-visibility product area with a deeply engaged user base; IXL’s native apps have over 28 million downloads.

This is a full-time position, working onsite at IXL’s HQ in San Mateo, CA on a hybrid schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Be responsible for strategy, roadmapping, and execution across IXL’s mobile apps in close partnership with senior leadership
• You will report to the Director of Product, working closely with the COO and VP of Product on quarterly planning and product visioning
• Use data appropriately and strategically to inform app development and enhancements.
• Collaborate directly with engineering, QA, and design
• Get in the weeds of product development, from conceptualizing designs to product review, launch planning, release coordination, and communication
• Lead a lean team where no task is too small and change is a constant
• Juggle multiple, often competing priorities and projects

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• BA/BS Degree
• At least 3 years of product management experience, with at least 2 of those years managing complex mobile product(s)
• Demonstrated experience taking mobile features from inception to launch
• Deep familiarity with mobile UX principles; you’re obsessed with the user journey and care deeply about providing a top-tier experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you’re a proactive communicator who’s able to craft and deliver the right message with appropriate detail to various audiences
• Growth mindset; you’re excited by challenges and you lead with a can-do attitude
• Prior experience in edtech is a bonus
