Product Management Instructor

Product School has built the first tech business school in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, New York, Santa Monica and Los Angeles.

Our product management and coding courses have played a critical part in changing the lives of many professionals who were able to learn the best practices, tools and skills required to get a management job in technology companies.

As the Product Management Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching our course curriculum and support our students during their career transition to product management. You will enjoy teaching at Product School while still being able to manage your full-time responsibilities at your current company.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach 5 hours per week for 8 weeks
  • Option one: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm to 9:00pm
  • Option two: Saturdays from 9:30am to 12:00pm and from 1:00pm to 3:30pm
  • Update and improve our product management course curriculum
  • Review student's homework assignments
  • Assist students outside of class as necessary

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Demonstrated high performance in a leadership role
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working at both small and large companies

Preferred qualifications:

  • Teaching or mentoring experience (even if it is not in product specific)
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
  • Experience hiring other product managers
  • Existing relationships with companies in the tech space
